TC Honors Students Celebrate Christmas

Tusculum College Honors students and faculty gathered Friday, December 4, at the college's mother church, First Presbyterian in downtown Greeneville, for the annual Honors Christmas banquet. The Presbyterian Women of First Presbyterian Church provided a gourmet meal with a melt-in-your-mouth chocolate confection for dessert. Honors students Alex Wiedemann and Mitchell Taylor, both Tusculum College freshmen, played the piano and guitar respectively to provide accompaniment for a rousing round of Christmas carols. Alex also played several intricate works. A riotous game of Dirty Santa was played by all as fun gag gifts such as felt antlers and sets of Play Dough were playfully fought over. The evening concluded as students and faculty contributed canned goods and money for a food bank donation.
