On The Road... Again!

What an exciting week for Tusculum College! We have witnessed our record setting largest entering class of 400 new students converge on campus. After a week of enjoying the fruits of our labor, the admission office is ready to start running the roads of the southeast region with even higher expectations for next year’s entering class!

For the next three months, admission representatives will be coming to your high schools, area malls, and civic centers. Starting next week, we will have representatives in Middle and East Tennessee high schools. If you go to a school at or near Warren County, Cherokee High, Hickman High, East Hickman High, Daniel Boone High, Perry County High, Lewis County, Tri-Cities, Giles County, Lawrence County, and Sullivan East High, a Tusculum representative will be coming to you next week. So, take some time and stop by our table and ask us about what distinguishing factors Tusculum has to offer. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Important Loan Information for New Students!

Are you counting on Federal Direct Student Loans to help you cover your expenses for college? If you are a first time borrower, you will need to complete Entrance Loan Counseling and a Master Promissory Note. If you have used student loans in the past at Tusculum College, you will still need to complete a new MPN for the Direct Lending Program. Failure to complete these steps could result in your account being placed on hold because your financial obligations with Tusculum College will not have been met. The Financial Aid Staff is always ready to assist you with any questions that you might have by contacting us at financialaid@tusculum.edu.

The "Buzz" is Coming Back...

Tusculum is starting to “buzz” again, as students are moving back to campus. A majority of the students coming to campus early are our fall sport athletes. The Pioneer football team reported last week to begin preparing for the upcoming season. They kick-off at home against Charleston (W.Va.) on August 28th at 1:00 P.M. Our soccer and volleyball teams will be reporting tomorrow to begin preparing for their upcoming seasons, as well. Our men’s soccer team opens up on September 3rd against King College with a neutral site match in Banner Elk, NC. The Lady Pioneer soccer team will be traveling to Texas A&M Commerce to start-up their season on September 4th. The Pioneer volleyball team will have their opening match on September 3rd as they take on West Virginia State in Indianapolis, IN. Our cross country runners will be also be reporting early this fall. Their opening meet is also on September 3rd at Stampede at the Shoals in Elizabethton, TN.

Be sure to come out and support all of our Pioneer teams this fall. To view a full schedule, visit our official athletic site: www.tusculumpioneers.com.
