To Register, you must first...

Hi everyone!

Do you know what completes the above statement?  The answer is: pay your enrollment deposit!

Tusculum will hold 3 Advance Registration Days this summer: May 27 (which is already booked!) June 24 and July 22.  Advance Registration is when you'll come to Tusculum, meet with your Advisor, and register your classes for your Freshman year.  You'll also meet with all the offices on campus (we'll all be in one convenient location: the Pioneer Arena) to make sure everything is ready to go for you for the Fall!  You must make an appointment, and you can contact your Admission Counselor to do so.  We schedule between 9am and 2:30pm, and plan to be here around 2-2.5 hours for the process.

Remember, before you can sign up to Register, you need to take care of your enrollment deposit.  As you may be aware, the enrollment deposit for Tusculum College is $300.  It's not an extra fee, it will come off your bill.  This will be some great news to you: for the month of May, your deposit is only $150!  I highly encourage you to take care of your deposit before May 31 to take advantage of this offer.

You can pay your enrollment deposit one of three ways:

- online at www.tusculum.edu/payment
- mail in a check or money order to The Office of Admission, PO Box 5051, Greeneville, TN   37743
- call the Office of Admission at 800-729-0256, and we can take care of that over the phone with a Visa or Mastercard.

I look forward to seeing you on campus soon for your Registration Day!
Nicole

Tusculum Awards Degrees to 263 Graduates

There was much to celebrate on Saturday, May 7, for 263 individuals who received degrees during Tusculum College’s spring commencement ceremony.

Ninety-seven students earned Bachelor of Science degrees in organizational management and 129 earned Bachelor of Arts degrees. In addition 37 earned Master of Arts degrees.

Walking with this spring’s graduates were representatives of the Tusculum College Class of 1961 who are celebrating their 50th anniversary year. Representatives walked in the procession, clothed in golden caps and gowns and were recognized during the ceremony by Dr. Nancy B. Moody, president of Tusculum College.
The new graduates were addressed by Moody, who recognized the commencement ceremony as “an occasion of celebration and completion.” Adding, “Each of you have made sacrifices, adjustments and also made tough decisions. This is a testament to your own efforts and also to your persistence. Today is your reward. Be proud of yourself and your accomplishments.”

A Fond Farewell... and a Welcome!

Commencement ceremonies for Tusculum's most recent graduates will be held tomorrow. It's hard to believe another year has passed us by! Our students who are not graduating are moving out of the dorms this week, and going home for the summer (or off on other adventures!). Campus will be quiet without them!

The good news: this summer we get to welcome all of our NEW students to campus! Advanced Registration Days (ARD) will be held this summer on May 27, June 24, and July 22. On these days our new students join us to sign up for classes, take care of paperwork, and get all of their loose ends tied up before August arrives. If you're planning to join us at TC this fall, be sure to make an appointment for registration! You can schedule a time by calling 800.729.0256. Hope to see you there!!
